Thomas J. Malloy, 72, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2012, at home with his loving partner at his side and into the arms of Jesus. Tom was born Feb. 19, 1939 in New Jersey to the late Thomas and Margaret (Quinn) Malloy.
Tom was a licensed Barber and Dental Technician. His focus in life was to stay engaged in creating beautiful artwork and writing poetry. He was an accomplished artist, his beautiful paintings grace our home throughout and will be a lasting remembrance of his sweet and loving nature. Tom loved to entertain, lighting up any occasion with his wonderful smile and laughter.
Tom is survived by his loving partner of 39 years, Peter Harvey. Special in-laws, Susan and Jim Wegner and their families with a close bond to Tom. John and Joan Harvey, Jan Harvey and very special friends, Bruce LaPointe and Richard Meeham. He is also survived by his sister in-law, June Malloy, nephews, James (Terri) Malloy, Donald (Suelin) Malloy, Steve Malloy and many loving nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Malloy.
Family and friends may call for a memorial visitation at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Service, East-Town location, 2379 East Mason St., on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012 from 1 until 2:00 p.m. Memorial Service 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
