John Salamonski, 83, went to the big casino in the sky on February 4, 2012. He was born on May 10, 1928 in Peshtigo. John served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. He married Joyce Krumie on Sept. 6, 1952 in Wausaukee. John lived in the Green Bay area all his life and loved spending time with his family, playing cards and going to the casino. He was employed as an auto mechanic at Dorsch Ford.

Survivors include his children, JoAnne (Tony) Drobeck; Irving Salamonski (Mary Walker); Tom (Darla) Salamonski; Jackie (Chuck) Pfluger; John (Michelle) Salamonski; Keith (Diane) Salamonski; Jill (David) Schroeder; Jim (Rene) Salamonski; Jennifer (Curtis) Jordan; twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren.

John was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joyce; granddaughter, Trischa.
