Sharon Ann (Delveaux) “Deedee” Garbe, 72, Bellevue, passed away at a local hospital on Monday, February 20, 2012. She was born on Nov. 7, 1939 to the late George and Inez (Schnitzler) Delveaux. Sharon graduated from East High School and was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary Denmark VFW Post. She was an avid bowler, camper and animal lover. She was a devoted mother to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also very proud of her K-9, ‘George’.
Survivors include her husband, Lee Garbe and sons Jamey and John; grandson, Tristin; children, Susie; Steve (Dawn); Jodi and special friend Bob; grandchildren, Diane, DeAnna and DuWayne Loret; Kassandra and Steven Lance Jr.; John and Joshua Huckins; great grandchildren, Cody, Dakota, Annie, Patrick, Riley and Jasmine; brother, George Delveaux and special friend Larren Piechota; nieces and nephews, Christopher (Carrie) Delveaux and their son, Evan; Eric (Carrie) Delveaux and their children, Alex, Zachary and Austin; Lynn (Todd) Smits and their children, Paige, Gwen and Madyson; lifelong friend, Judy; special K-9, George and her other pets, Smokey, Lil Bit, Lola, Marla, Henry, Fred, Yukon Jack and Molly.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; infant brother; great grandson, Chad; sister-in-law, Kathleen.
Family and friends may call at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Service, East-Town location, 2379 East Mason St., on Thursday, Feb. 23, from 5 until 7:00 p.m. Closing prayer 7 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to nurses and staff of Aurora Dialysis; Aurora Hospital and ICU for wonderful care given.
