Bernard ‘Bernie’ J. Williams, 82, Hobart, passed away at a local nursing home on Saturday, June 2, 2012. He was born in Green Bay on Feb. 21, 1930 to the late Bernard L. and Alice (Thyrion) Williams. He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. Bernie married Darlene Fugate in Green Bay. He was a loyal worker at Atlas Warehouse & Cold Storage for 44 years and retired in Feb. 1992. Bernie was a member of Bay City Baptist Church. He was a kind and generous man, dedicated father and a good husband. Bernie will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
Survivors include his children, Joan (Gary) Naze; Randy (Ginni) Williams; Dan (Roxanne) Williams; Caralyn (Bob) Touchinski; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; his wife, Darlene; her children, Hope (Rob) Hangen; Kevin (Kathy) Fugate; Mike (Kristin) Fugate; numerous grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; sister, Patricia Dudley; brother, Dale (Nancy) Williams; sister-in-law, Mary Jane Williams.
Bernie was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Audrey; brother, Charles; first wife, Beatrice Vandenberg on Sept. 21, 1987.
