Alice
Lindgren
Dec 27, 1965 — Mar 1, 2016
Alice (Rottier) Lindgren
She lived her life with dignity and faith, and it was with dignity and faith that she entered the gates of heaven on March 1, 2016. Alice (Rottier) Lindgren, age 50, was born on December 27, 1965 to Richard (Dick) and Mary Rottier. Alice was a 1984 graduate of West De Pere High School. On October 11, 1986, she married the love of her life, Roy Lindgren.
Alice worked for United Health Care for 29 years. For the year prior to her illness, she found fulfillment and joy working for Howard Chiropractic Clinic. Despite the many challenges she faced, Alice loved life! She especially enjoyed cooking, trips to Door County, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, and time spent with family. Above all else, her greatest pride was her children and grandchildren and her selfless character meant that they always came first.
Survivors include her husband; her three children, Megan, Kendra, and Jordan; her grandchildren, Aaliyah and Andre; her parents; her sisters, Fran (Jeff) Larson, Carol (Don) Anderkay, Julie Rottier, and Amy (Steve) LaPierre; her sister-in-law, Debbie Lindgren; nieces and nephews, Nicole (Ben) Grall, Kayla (Sam) Weyenberg, Rick Larson, Sara (Mike Nagel) Anderkay, Brian Anderkay, Christina (Craig) Spierings, Brad (Kelsey) LaPierre, Mitch (Krista Hawkinson) LaPierre, and Heather (Jason) Peterson; aunts, uncles, and cousins, including one very special cousin, Melanie Styczynski.
Alice was preceded in death by loved ones who were waiting for her in heaven with open arms, including her brother, Paul Rottier; her nephew, Jeffie Larson; her mother-in-law, Margaret Flouro; her grandparents, Chris and Marie Rottier and August and Frances VanDerLinden; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Family and friends may call at Ss. Edward and Isidore Church, 3667 Flintville Road in Suamico on Friday, March 4, 2016 from 4 until 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 until 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church with Father David Hoffman officiating. Alice spent her life in the continual pursuit of peace for herself and for others. May her final resting place bring her the peace she sought. "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33.
Alice's family extends special thanks to the Cancer Team with Bellin Health and Unity Hospice for their genuine care and concern during Alice's illness.
