Obituary

Allen A. Mueske, 69, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2021. Allen was born December 22, 1951 to the late Elmer and Genevieve (Gilmer) Mueske. He graduated from Menasha High School in 1970 and went on to serve as a Lance Corporal in the US Marine Corps from June 1970 to October 1973. After being honorably discharged, Allen worked for various companies, mostly in trucking until he worked for the City of Menasha, Sanitation Department. He retired from the City in 2012. On August 24, 2002 he married the love of his life, Barbara Steinfeldt-Vassallo.

Allen enjoyed the outdoors where he could be found camping, hiking, or bow/gun hunting for turkey and deer. He loved gaming with his son and friends. He loved traveling and exploring new places. He loved his yearly trips to Texas where he could be found with family, exploring, or at the beach. He loved spending time with his blended family. He considered them all his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed life.

Survivors include Allen's wife, Barbara Mueske, children, Jennifer Viveros, Jason (Jessica) Mueske, Danielle (Steven) Kozelek, Anthony (Mary) Vassallo III, and Tara (Bryan) Jardine, grandchildren, Allison (Jacob) Kraynik, Kia Mies and friend Tim Klein, Steven Kozelek Jr., Calista Vassallo, Vincent Vassallo, Julia Vassallo, Aliana Viveros, Alicia Viveros, and Rhett Allen Mueske, great-grandson, Krew Kraynik, brother, Elmer (Sue) Mueske Jr., sisters, Judy (Tom) Drum, Debbie Galloway, and Kathleen Mueske, brothers-in-law, David (Sharon) Steinfeldt and Donald (Andrea) Steinfeldt, sisters-in-law, Donna Arndt, Karen (Mike) Alberts, Patti (Larry) VandenBush, Jennifer (Dan) DeGrave, and Tami (Alan) Weiner, brothers of the heart, Mike Weins, Will Hoerning, and Steve Greisbach, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-laws, Rupert and Delilah Steinfeldt, brother, Larry Mueske, and grandson, Alayas Viveros.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 12:30-1:30 pm at the White Oak Chapel, W2230 US-10, Forest Junction, WI 54123, with a service to follow. Online condolences are welcome at www.PfotenhauerFuneralHome.com .
