Alvin "Allie" Huben, 87, passed away on January 10, 2024, with family by his side. He was born on May 12, 1936, to the late John and Viola Huben in Duck Creek. Allie married Shirley Luedke on April 11, 1959, and together they have raised two sons, Steve and Patrick. From 1961 – 1963, Alvin served in the US Military, Army.

For several years, Allie took over his father's milk route before working in construction. Until Alvin retired, he worked for over 30 years at Hougard's Construction. Even after retiring, he continued to help his sons at their construction business for 15 years. Allie enjoyed listening to the Brewers and watching Packer games, gardening, and hunting and fishing at his cabin in Popple River. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.

Allie is survived by his wife of 64 years, Shirley; son, Steve and Lisa and his children and grandchildren: James and Kristy (Dameon and Jaxson), Nichole and Ryan (Mason), Austin and Abbi (Kiara, Taylen, and Bre), and Shaylee; son, Pat and Sandy and his children: Taylor, and Dylan.  Allie is further survived by his siblings - Delores, Dot, Darlene and Diane. Shirley's siblings - Bonnie, Marlene (Dick), Molly, and Sue; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings - Dick, Melvin, Larry and Raymond. Shirley's Siblings -Kate, Gene, Merlin, Darlene, and Janice.

A viewing and visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2597 Glendale Ave, (one quarter mile east on the corner of Cardinal Ln. and Glendale Ave.; entrance directly across from the BP gas station) from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial and military honors will immediately follow at 12:30 PM.
