Anyone that knew Annabelle knew she was a lady of unconditional love. She loved her children, grandkids and all her special little great grandkids. Annabelle loved family gatherings and holidays. Christmas was her favorite!
Annabelle had many hobbies, working in her flowers, putting puzzles together, embroidering and making sequence felt stockings. Everyone in the family, including her friends, had one of her Christmas felt stockings.
Annabelle had strong religious faith and raised her children accordingly. She had many selfless acts of love with her family which was one of her many wonderful qualities.
Annabelle Skaletski, 94, passed away on September 9, 2024, with her loving family by her side. She was born on December 25, 1929 to the late William and Leona Jacobs.
Annabelle is survived by her seven children and their spouses, Gary and Kathy Skaletski, Bonnie (Dawes) and Gary Possley, Jill and John Burns, Wendy and Lee Duchateau, Larry and Cheryl Skaletski, Mary and Jeff Koehler, and Pam and Kerry Zirbel; grandchildren and their families, Kurt and Cheryl Skaletski and their children Griffin & Gracie, Craig and Dawn Skaletski, Debbie (Dawes) and Bob Frank, Katie and Jeff Warpinski and their children Anna & Kara, Melissa Possley and Jeremiah Nolan, Jeff and Anna Burns and their children Jeffrey Robert (Jess) & Alison, Jenny and Tyler Callow, Kayla and Zach Jadin, Tara Hanson and special friend James DeClark and their daughter Aspen, Josh Skaletski and special friend Kara Hogan, Kolton Koehler, Ben and Abby Koehler and their children Banks & Nial, Charlie and Jenessa Koehler and their children Jaylie & Josie, Brittany Zirbel, Travis and Brooke Zirbel and their son Trevor. She is further survived by one brother, Fr. William Jacobs, Jr.; two sisters-in-law, Darlene Jacobs and Sr. Rosalyn Skaletski; and brother-in-law, Leo (Marilyn) Skaletski.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Norbert; granddaughter, Diane Dawes; son-in-law, Barry Dawes; siblings, Celina and Richard Vande Voort, Robert and Bernice Jacobs, Arleen and Ed VerHeyden, Russell and Helen Jacobs, Ronnie Jacobs, and Mary Lou Jacobs; parents-in-law, Casmier and Johanna Skaletski; and siblings-in-law, Medard Skaletski, Delores Skaletski, and Elaine and Bill Letter.
Family and friends may call at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 3009 Bay Settlement Rd, from 9:00 – 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 17. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM.
