Anton S. Dohnalik, 83, Village of Howard, passed away at home on Saturday, January 9, 2016. He was born in the town of Worcester, WI on April 26, 1932 to the late Anton J. and Mary (Varholik) Dohnalik. Tony served in the National Guard before and after serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged. He married Sharon Evrard at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Stiles on Sept. 23, 1967. Tony was employed as a supervisor at Allen Bradley, FMC and Amplas retiring in 1996. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and belonged to the Athletic Club. Tony enjoyed woodworking, carving, crosswords, camping, western movies, documentaries and had a great love of nature. He enjoyed riding the trails on his scooter with Sharon by his side on her bike and spending time with both the Dohnalik and Evrard families. Tony lived his life by the motto "Once you make a decision you don't look back."
Survivors include his loving wife, Sharon; children, Michael (Sarah) Dohnalik; Allen (Sheryl) Dohnalik; Kim (Dion) Votava; grandchildren, Megan Votava; Connor and Mitchell Votava; Henry Dohnalik; Benjamin and Clara Dohnalik; and one in the oven; brothers, Joseph Dohnalik, Chicago; Martin (Bernice) Dohnalik, Boyd, WI. Further survived by many nieces and nephews.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Veronica Zierer, Ann Wirtas and Mary Dohnalik; nephews, Gregory Wirtas, Thomas Zierer, David and Jeffery Dohnalik; nieces, Gail Dohnalik, Eileen Nierman and Debra Metz.
Family and friends may call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2561 Glendale Ave., Howard on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016 from 10 until 12:00 noon. Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 noon at the church with the Rev. John Bergstadt officiating. Military Honors to follow. Online condolences welcome at www.PfotenhauerFuneralHome.com
