Arturo "AJ" Coronado passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 1, 2022, as the result of a motorcycle accident. The son of Arturo and the late Marla (Flugge) Coronado, AJ was born on January 31, 2000, in Lake Forest, IL. After moving to Green Bay, AJ graduated in 2018 from Bayport High School where he played Football, Basketball, and Lacrosse, AJ worked for Alpha Automotive in Quality Control.
AJ also worked at Nicky's Lionshead Tavern as a line cook where he loved to bring his passion for cooking to their daily specials. AJ loved his family, he loved watching Da'Bears, working out, tinkering on his many vehicles, gaming and hanging with "the guys"! Everyone who met AJ instantly fell in love with his brilliant smile and laughter.
AJ is survived by his father Arturo (Michelle Halloran), his sister Taylor and nephew Mateo Coronado, grandparents, Juan and Esther Coronado and Randall Flugge and the late Patty Flugge-Williams. Uncles and aunts, Junior Coronado, Ricky (Elvida) Coronado, Carlos (Melissa) Coronado, Randy (Gina) Monica Flugge, many cousins, extended family and friends.
Services for AJ will be held at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1145 Cardinal Lane, Green Bay, WI 54313 on Saturday, July 9, 2022. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a service to follow. Following the service, the burial will be held at Suamico Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. where he will be laid to rest.
The family would like to give thanks to the good Samaritans who found AJ and called 911, to the First Responders and the U.W.G.B. officers. Pfotenhauer Funeral Home for their assistance to the family and to all who have reached out to the family during this very difficult time, especially Cameron Dietrich, Brett Ahlborn, Kevin Mac, his Alpha Automotive family and so many more.
