Barbara Jean (Radosevich) Reignier, 87, died on Thanksgiving Day at Emerald Bay in Hobart. Barbara was the daughter of Elsie (Johansen) and Mathew Radosevich. She attended St. Joseph Grade School and graduated from West High School with the class of 1949. On March 31, 1951, she married her high school sweetheart, James Reignier. Together they raised three children: Steven, Susan, and Scott, all of whom preceded her in death.
Barb did secretarial work for Schneider Transportation, C. Reiss Coal Company, Attorney Donald Zuidmulder, and Renco Machine Company.
Barb and Jim enjoyed many travels, an audience with the Pope and visiting Fatima being her favorites. She bowled, played golf and enjoyed reading and Red Hatters Club. Following her retirement, Barbara volunteered at Salvation Army, San Luis Nursing Home, and Nativity Parish. Barbara also served as a Hot Line Counselor.
Her survivors include: her husband, James Reignier; brothers, Jack Radosevich (Glendale, Arizona), Karl (Jeanne) Radosevich (Sturgeon Bay) and one sister Sandra (Donald) Renard, (Green Bay). She is further survived by sister-in-laws, Pat Reignier (Saek Falls, Minn.) and Shirley (Voll) Lattin (Los Lumas, N. Mexico). She will be remembered by her nieces and nephews and special friends, Susan and Terry Thayse.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home, East-Town location, 2379 East Mason St., Green Bay, from 4 until 7:00 p.m. Visitation continues on Wednesday, November 28 from 10-11:00 a.m. at Nativity of Our Lord Parish, 2270 South Oneida St., Green Bay. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Father Mike Ingold officiating. Burial will be held at Lawrence Cemetery in De Pere. The family will be forever grateful to the staff at Emerald Bay Memory Care and to Heartland Hospice for the loving care given Barbara.
