Bobbie Strehl, 72, Hobart, passed very peacefully on May 30th in her home she cherished. Barb was brought to us by the late Clement and Mary Boncyk on January 31, 1947.

Raised in the idilyc Westby Wisconsin area, Barbara was a graduate of Viterbo College in LaCrosse with a Masters Degree in Education. She was a passionate and energetic teacher and enjoyed the classrooms of the Pulaski School District for 28 years where she inspired, challenged, and believed in "Her kids," as if they were her own.  Barbara was an avid reader, and had an eagle eye on her family, friends, and relatives.

Bobbie is survived by her best friend and husband, Tom; son, Nicholas (Angela) Portland, OR; daughter, Katrina (Matt) Miller and their daughter Merrisa Jo Miller, Ripon; brother, Dr. John (Theresa) Boncyk, Madison, and nieces Dr. Christina Boncyk, Tennessee and Maria Boncyk, New York; and her dearest friend, Barbara Schweisow, Hobart, WI.

We will celebrate our special bond at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane. Come and say your goodbyes from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday June 5, but "keep the line moving please".  Memorial service will follow at 11:30.  No donations please, add that to your favorite organization.
