Barry Jay Dost, 49, passed away on October 11, 2015. He was born in Green Bay, WI on June 7, 1966 to Bob and Boni (Verber) Dost. When Barry was 13 years old he moved to San Diego, CA and graduated from Mission Bay High School. He married Stefanie Briggs on Aug. 17, 1996. Barry's passion for flight started early in his life when at the age of 14 he started hang gliding. After high school he went to helicopter school and worked as a helicopter pilot with a commercial and instructor's license. His favorite hobbies were working on cars and being a handyman. He moved back to Wisconsin in 2014 and was currently working at Diversified Woodcrafts, Inc. He is survived by his former wife, Stefanie; his mother; grandmother, Joyce Verber; aunt, Anna Verber; and three cousins. Barry was preceded in death by his two brothers, Brett and Bradley; two uncles, Gregg and Rick Verber; grandfather, Robert Verber. Services will be held for immediate family.
