Betty J. Freeberg, 68, Howard, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016. She was born in Iron Mountain, MI on June 7, 1947 to the late Everett and Myrtle (Gremore) Freeberg. Betty was employed as a registered nurse for the VA Hospital for 20+ years. She was a person who loved to travel and go to Wisconsin Badger games. Betty enjoyed time with friends from her church.

Survivors include her sister, Charlotte (Frank) Meshigaud; niece, Jill Meshigaud, Waupaca; nephew, John Meshigaud, Green Bay.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Charles and Frieda Freeberg; Edgar and Bessie Gremore.
