Bonita K. Verstoppen, 89, of Flintville, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, September 12, 2022. She was born in Green Bay to the late August and Margaret (Keuken) Johnson. Bonita married Willard (Bill) Verstoppen on September 29 ^th , 1956, in Flintville. She was employed at Larsen's Canning in Green Bay and a homemaker raising all 10 of her children.

Bonita enjoyed building campfires, baking, puzzle books, and being with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Marvin, Larry, Gene, Mark, John (Jen) Verstoppen and Dean (Tammy) Verstoppen; daughters, Karen Verstoppen and Sharon (Larry) Schabel; a brother, Danny (Carol) Johnson; 12 loving grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Bonita was preceded in death by her husband, Willard (Bill) Verstoppen; parents, August and Margaret Johnson; daughters, Mary Broekman and Carol Verstoppen, and brother, Ken Johnson.

A funeral service will be held at Ss. Edward & Isidore Catholic Church, 3667 Flintville Road, Suamico, on Saturday, September 17, 2022, with visitation from 9:30 – 11:00 AM and a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM with Father David Hoffman officiating.
