Bonnie Krause, 76, of the Village of Howard, passed away at an area hospital on Monday, January 20, 2025. Born on May 31, 1948, in Green Bay to the late Harold and Audrey (Keidatz) Slye, Bonnie graduated from Green Bay West High School. She married Roy Krause on October 25, 1969, and they both worked at Village Greens Golf Course. Bonnie had a deep love for cats and treated farm animals as pets. She enjoyed helping her son Brett with their herb and perennial gardens. Bonnie was fond of attending toy and rummage sales in Iowa and cherished her time at the Oconto County Fair, where she enjoyed demo derbies, truck and tractor pulls, and fireworks, making many good friends along the way. She was a former member of the Bay Port FFA Alumni.

Bonnie is survived by her son Brett; her sister Linda (Scott) Remington and their daughter Jessica; her sister-in-law Jane Krause and her children, Jill (Dan) Paulsen, Lyn (John) McCaughtey, Joy (Jim) Steinberger, and Jon (Sara) Krause; and many wonderful friends she cherished dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy, her parents, her sister Beverly, and her brothers and sisters-in-law.

Family and friends may call at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane, Green Bay on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m., with a Funeral Service at 6:00 p.m. A spring burial with a Celebration of Life will take place.
