Brenda L. Wood, 65, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025. Born on November 5, 1960, to Leslie and Jacqueline Wood, Brenda lived a life filled with simple joys, laughter, and love.

Brenda was content with life's quiet pleasures. She loved spending her days playing cards, tackling word searches, and cheering for her favorite football teams—whether it was the NFL, college matchups, or even a bit of Arena football. Golf often found a place on her TV too, especially on relaxing weekends.

Family meant everything to Brenda. She was happiest when surrounded by her loved ones—her aunts, uncles, and especially her nieces and nephews, who held a special place in her heart. Growing up and living on the same road as much of her family, including both sets of grandparents and several aunts, brought her great comfort and closeness throughout her life.

One of her favorite pastimes was sharing a friendly wager with her dad, often a single dollar on a football game—just enough to keep things interesting and full of laughter.

Brenda is survived by her brothers, Brian (Barb) Wood and Bob (Diane) Wood; her sister, Dawn (Larry) Robenhorst; and many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and special friends, Dawn Schuster and Melissa Dombeck-Gilliame. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Jacqueline Wood.

The family would like to thank Alpha Senior Concepts, for the care they provided Brenda while she was there.

Brenda will be remembered for her warm heart, her easy smile, and her love of family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A funeral services for Brenda will be held at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home Howard - Suamico, 1145 Cardinal Lane, on Saturday, November 29, from 11:00am - 1:00pm, with a service to follow.
