Carol M.
Lemere
Jul 29, 1932 — May 25, 2026
Carol passed from this world on Monday, Memorial Day, May 25, 2026. She was born on July 29, 1932, in Antigo, Wisconsin. Her parents were Harold and Florence Peck, from Iowa. She had two older sisters; Pauline and Kate.
When Carol was 9 years old, the whole family moved to the East side of Green Bay on Doty Street. Carol went to East High, graduating in June of 1950. Then one night, she went square dancing at Happy Holzem's on old Shawano Road. That is where she met her future husband, Joe LeMere. They were married on September 22, 1951, at old St. John's in Howard, corner of Glendale and Cardinal Lane. Their reception was at Pamperin Park Pavilion.
Her employments included years at Northern Shoe in Pulaski, telephone operator in Green Bay for years, and with Disney for 20 years. She then started aiding and taking care of Joe's affairs, including building houses, garages, sheds, apartments, Dr. Angus' building (now run by his daughter), etc.
Meanwhile, they had 5 children, 2 girls, and 3 boys. They lived in a shed next to the chicken coop, on the LeMere homestead on Cardinal Lane. Then, they moved to Maywood on the hill, until they bought the lot at the end of Lacona Street, where Joe built his large warehouse for all his supplies and private office. Then Joe built and lived in 3-4 houses on Lacona, then built his main house (4 bd-2 bath and an in-ground pool and changing rooms in the basement).
Carol is survived by children: Barbara Euclide, Linda (Roland) Morin, Larry LeMere and John (Judy) LeMere; grandchildren, Dan (Heidi) Euclide, Jeri Euclide, Robert (Kristin) Euclide, Charles Euclide, Alicia Schofield, Kory LeMere, Kristy LeMere, Cindy (Stan) Kim, Peggy, Terry Murff, Jim Murff; great-grandchildren, Danny, Reese, & Sam Euclide, Nathaniel (Ashley), Kameron & McKenna Euclide, Zander Schofield, Brooklyn & Braxton LeMere, Kylie & Kellan Kim, and all the kids from Tennessee.
All the people who preceded Carol in death are her husband, Joe LeMere; son, Michael LeMere; her parents; sisters, Pauline (G. Howard) Murff and Katherine (Bud) Littlejohn.
Many thanks to all the many friends and relatives who helped her throughout her life. Thanks to Bristol Hospice, Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Oconto Falls, and many friends there, to all who helped her at Woodfield Apartments, and Aurora, especially Dr. Suzette Lee.
