Caroll Wessley, 91, of Green Bay passed away peacefully at St. Vincent's Hospital in Green Bay, WI on Wednesday April 12 th , 2023.  She was born in Green Bay on February 9 th , 1932, to the late Robert and Martha Sprague.  Caroll graduated from West High School in 1950.  She spent her early years as a waitress then working in the home taking care of her beautiful family.  On October 15 th , 1952, she married the love of her life, the late Otis Wessley.  They raised 5 children in their home in Oneida, WI.

Caroll had a passion for spending all her time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was always known for grandma with the best snacks (corn curls & Fritos) and her famous banana bread.  In her free time Caroll would very much enjoy sewing and crocheting everything from barbie clothes for the grandchildren to throws or blankets for your home.

Survivors include her children, Robert Wessley, Mark Wessley, Kathy Wessley, and Lynn Wessley; sibling Judy Campshure; brother-in-law Ron Campshure; grandchildren Jenny (Michael) Kobriger, Kayla (Zach) Michael, Michael (Laura) Wessley, Ashley Campshure, Michael Bigfire, Amber Bigfire, and Joshua Bigfire; eight great-grandchildren and many more family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Robert & Martha Sprague; husband, Otis Wessley; daughter, Lisa Bigfire; son-in-law, David Bigfire; and daughter-in-law, Leslie Wessley.

There will be a memorial service starting at 11 AM at St. Joseph Parish, 145 St. Joseph Dr. Hobart, on Thursday April 20 th , 2023
