Carol Walus, 81, Howard, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2015. She was born in Green Bay on June 28, 1934 to the late Harvey and Verne (Perz) Van Denack. Carol graduated from West High School Class of 1953. She married Robert C. Walus in Green Bay on December 29, 1978. Carol was an active volunteer at Resurrection Church. She loved sewing and made dresses for the people in Haiti. Carol also enjoyed quilting baby caps and quilts. She is known for her selfless generosity and concern for others. She courageously fought a 2-year battle with renal cancer. Survivors include her husband, Robert C. Walus; children, Michael (Sheryl) Lewins; Carla Lewins (Betty Anderson); Randall Lewins; Christina (Stephen) Holmes; John (Toni) Lewins; Mark (Hong) Lewins; Barbara (Gary) Jordan; Theresa Walus; 14 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley (Jim) Goral; Jan (Jerry) Bero; Arlene (Fred) Kaminski; Paula (Robert) Koury; in-laws, Mary (Michael) Zappa; Joseph (Pam) Walus; Mike Walus; special friend, Ritchie Valens Walus; nieces and nephews and family friends. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; in-laws, Clement and Rita Walus; brother, Gerald Van Denack.
