Chad Jody Marohl, 44, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 following a seven year battle with cancer. He was born August 9, 1973 to Esther (Doemel) Marohl and Jody Marohl. Chad graduated from Ashwaubenon High School in 1992. He met his wife, Jennifer (Egen) Marohl, while working at Bonanza Family Restaurant. Chad and Jenny were united in holy matrimony on November 3, 2001. They have two wonderful children, Cadin (14) and Kyla (12). He was currently employed by O'Reilly Auto Parts.
Chad loved playing guitar and drums. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and talking with people. Chad had a strong faith in Jesus as his savior.
Survivors include his wife Jenny and children Cadin and Kyla, Howard; parents Jody and Esther Marohl, Ashwaubenon; sister Shannon, De Pere; brother Adam, Green Bay; parents-in-law James and Mary Egen, Shawano; brother-in-law Timothy (Joan) Egen, Cross Plains; brother-in-law Jonathan (Jennifer) Egen, De Pere; nieces Alexis and Ciera Egen; nephews Jameson and Theodore Egen and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Chad was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Robert and Grace Doemel, and paternal grandparents, Awald Marohl and Henry and Mavis Rollmann; an uncle Gary Doemel and an aunt Margaret Owen, and a cousin Mat Ramer.
Family and friends may call at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane, Green Bay on Monday, January 8, 2018 from 4 until 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at Calvary Lutheran Church, 1301 S. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund for the children has been established.
Chad's family would like to thank Aurora Vince Lombardi Cancer Center and Bellin Hospital for their excellent care of Chad.
