Cindy Lou Dominiczak, 59, Suamico, lost her battle to a higher power on Friday, October 14, 2016 due to complications from a brief illness. She was born on June 27, 1957 to the late Charles and Delores (Farrell) Groh in Oconto, WI. She attended Bay Port H.S. and studied at the University of Wisconsin at Green Bay. Cindy married her husband Tom Dominiczak on August 22, 1987. She explored careers in cosmetology and medical assistance before partnering with her husband in their small business and later pursued a career in real estate. Cindy enjoyed long weekends in Door County, warm days on the lake and most anything that included the outdoors. She enjoyed time with her grandchildren, gardening and will be remembered for her fond appreciation of the simple things in life.
Survivors include her husband, Tom; son, Andrew (Jennifer) Anderson; grandchildren, Christian, Kade, Beckett and a future granddaughter due in January; brothers and sisters, Debra Peterson, Chris Groh, Randy (Cathy) Groh; Greg (Geri) Groh; Sherry (Brent) Gagnon; John Groh; Terry (Denise) Groh; Melanie (Mike) Tiedts; Trina (Mike) Maney. She is further survived by many relatives and friends.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Charles "Robert" Groh.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane, on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 12 until 2:00 p.m. Memorial Service 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences welcome at www.PfotenhauerFuneralHome.com
The family would like to extend a thank you to the wonderful people who helped care for Cindy at St. Mary's/St. Vincent Medical Centers and a special thanks to the St. Vincent ICU team for the excellent service and compassion they provided towards Cindy and her loved ones during this most difficult time.
A memorial fund has been established in Cindy's name.
