On Wednesday, August 4, 2021, Clifford Leslie Nysse, devoted husband to Char for 50 years and loving father to five children, passed away at the age of 71.

Cliff was born on March 11, 1950, in Green Bay, WI to Leslie and Vernette (Prange) Nysse.  He grew up on a farm just outside of Denmark, WI, which he eventually took over ownership of when he married the love of his life, Charlotte (Heyrman) on August 21, 1971.  They raised four sons Eric, Kevin, Brian, and Philip and one daughter Heather.

Cliff was a life-long farmer.  He lived and breathed farming and his happiest days were behind the wheel of a tractor with work boots on his feet and a hat on his head.  He was a man of few words with a big heart and gentle soul who will be greatly missed by many.

Cliff was preceded in death by his father, Leslie, his mother, Vernette, his sister, Carol (Nysse) VandeHei and his daughter-in-law, Amy (Kobes) Nysse.  Cliff is survived by his wife Charlotte (Heyrman) Nysse and his five children Eric Nysse, Kevin Nysse and his wife Patty (Troedel), Heather (Nysse) Farina and her husband Phil, Brian Nysse and his wife Sheila (Schwartz) and Philip and his wife Sarah (Strickler) along with his grandchildren Ashley, Jocelyn, Olivia, Jason, Kate, Adelynn, William and Jaxon.  He is also survived by his brother-in-law Nobert VandeHei and many other family members, including brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 9, 2021 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Gibson, 16904 County Rd. Q, Mishicot, WI 54228 at 11am with visitation beginning at 9am.   In lieu of flowers, please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
