Colleen Hawley, 87, of Green Bay, passed away November 30, 2021, after a short illness.

Colleen was born June 16, 1934, the daughter of the late John and Fern Sullivan.  She attended St. Patrick Grade School and graduated from Green Bay West High School.  After graduation, she was among the first women admitted to St. Norbert College.

She married Richard Hawley January 28, 1956.  Colleen worked for many years in health care and enjoyed playing bridge, golf and cheering on the Packers and Badgers.  She was quick to mention she attended every game at Lambeau Field, including the Ice Bowl, until an injury ended her streak in 2011.  She followed the Packers to a Super Bowl and the Badgers to a Rose Bowl.

Colleen was particularly proud of her Irish heritage and looked forward to St. Patrick's Day celebrations every year.  She enjoyed a trip to Ireland where she visited her ancestral home, Bennetts Bridge.

Colleen is survived by her husband of 65 years, Richard of Green Bay.  Her son, John, of Random Lake, and daughter Meghan (Scott Shallow), Green Bay, granddaughter, Emma Madison, and special nephews, Peter (Leann) Stone, Mequon and David Hannon, Kimberly.  She was predeceased by her grandson, Alec, her parents, sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Howard Stone, and a nephew, Jeff Stone.

Funeral services will take place at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 312 Victoria Street in Green Bay on Saturday, December 11th at 11:00 a.m.  The family will greet relatives and friends at the Church at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.  Masks and social distancing are encouraged.
