Constance “Connie” Johnson, 72, passed away on July 17, 2026, with family by her side. She was born on December 19, 1953, to the late Henry and Olive (Hill) Petcka. On June 19, 1971, Connie married David Johnson, and together they built a beautiful life together and celebrated 55 years of marriage.

Connie especially cherished spending time at her childhood cabin, built by her father, surrounded by family and friends. She fiercely loved her dogs, cooking way too much food, cross stitching, and reading (although she insisted on reading the last page of every book before she started). Connie found joy in baking cheesecakes for her grandkids, making lemon meringue pie for her son-in-law Rob, and was known for making the best potato salad.

Connie is survived by her loving husband, David Lee Johnson; children, Crista (Rob) Schreiber, Jennifer Johnson (Jason Wozniak), Danielle Johnson, David Johnson (Laura Pamperin); grandchildren, Breanna (Sam) Zold, Brandon Schreiber, Dominic Schreiber, Lakelynne Kutska, Kaleb Kutska, Skylee (Ben) Kromanaker, Keilah Kutska, Christopher Gillespie, Cayden Gillespie, Coby Gillespie; sister, Cheryl (Hamid) Ghorashi; brother-in-law, Mike (Diane) Johnson; and beloved yellow lab, Belle.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Henry and Olive Petcka; parents-in-law, Harry and Juanita Johnson; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mark and Renae Harris.
