Arndt Jr.

David Kent Arndt Jr., 54, of Green Bay, WI passed away suddenly of a heart attack on January 25, 2022. David was born on February 14, 1967 in Lexington, MO to David K. Arndt and Jan (Anson) Weycker. David lived his childhood years in the Kansas City area, Ft. Wayne IN, Ankeny IA, and Green Bay WI where he graduated from Green Bay Preble High School in 1985. David worked for a time at his family's John Deere dealership in Higginsville MO, but was primarily employed for most of his life in the trucking industry. He had just begun working with his brother, Tim Arndt, in Tim's new lawn and property maintenance business, Mr Tim's Lawn Care. They were both very excited about this and had big goals of growing the business together.
David loved building model cars, his John Deere tractor collection, the band KISS, and most importantly; he loved his family. He enjoyed cookouts, boating, and was focused on playing with his nieces and nephew whenever possible. He had infinite patience with the kids. He loved reading to them and helping them learn as they grew. You could see the pride, joy and his gentle nature when he was with them. His time, personal attention and focus was a true gift to the children. He was a humble man who truly enjoyed people. David was an avid Green Bay Packers and Kansas City Chiefs fan. He loved dogs, and had a special bond with his dog, Miley, who he bought back from Colorado with him.
David lived in Lexington, MO and Salt Lake City, UT after graduating from high school before returning to Green Bay in 2007 to be close to his family. He was married to Bonnie (Tanner) from 1992-2007.
David will be deeply missed by his parents, David Arndt and Jan Weycker; sister Janna Arndt; brother Tim (Megan) Arndt; nieces Ryleigh Wicke and Abbie Arndt; nephew and Godson Anson Arndt; aunts and uncles, Jennifer (Keith) Gockel; Joseph Anson (Richard Sharp); Jill (Ray) Sutherland; Beth Arndt; (step)brother Byron (Beno) Weycker; cousins Matthew Nolting, Anson Sutherland and many wonderful cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; M.L. and Mary Lou Anson; Charles and Josephine Arndt; stepfather, Byron W. Weycker; uncles, Paul (Ginny) Arndt and Dennis Arndt; and cousin, Mark Arndt.
A service and celebration of life will be held at Oakbrook Church, 3600 Lost Lane, De Pere, WI 54115, on February 17, 2022. Visitation at 1:00 p.m. with service at 3:00 p.m. Online condolences welcome at www.PfotenhauerFuneralHome.com
