Dayna Bertrand, 60, of Green Bay, passed away on September 8th, 2024, with loved ones by her side. Dayna was Born on November 5th, 1963, to Mary Ann Doucha and Wayne Doucha. She leaves behind her sister Dawn Rose (husband Alfred Rose) and brother Daryl Doucha (partner Kellie Nooyen), and her non biological sister, life long friend, Marya Mellen.

Dayna spent her life doing the things that she loved. Although she spent most of her life in Wisconsin, she never missed an opportunity to explore the country. She spent time in Montana as a ranch hand, as a way to fuel her immense love for horses and wildlife. She would ride motorcycles from state to state to work at swap meets, taking adventures along the way to explore all along the countryside. Dayna was a woman with many skills who made countless friends along her journeys with her selfless generosity and one of a kind sense of humor.

She ultimately resided in Wisconsin where she took on the role of being an amazing mother and grandmother. She leaves behind her six children: Brett Bertrand, Krystal Thalacker, Garrett Thalacker, AuBree Doucha, Cira Ramon (fiancé Cody Marcelle), and Denniella Ramon (partner Séamus Johnson). Dayna absolutely adored her grandchildren, Olivia, Mikaylee, David, Emmanuel, Revvin, Beau, and Celia. Being a grandmother was one of her favorite things as they brought so much joy and laughter into her life throughout the years.

Dayna's love for animals started at a young age. In Daynas younger years her mother rescued two baby raccoons, named Roxy and Raquel, that would become their most interesting pets. She would go on to own horses of her very own, Autumn Moon, Jesse James, TJ, and the beloved MRA Kitten Kaboodle (Kit). She was also a German Shepard fanatic, raising 3 beautiful dogs Sable Sabertooth, Chase Chasing Bugs, and her dearest Clydesdale Clippity Clop Pony Boy(Clyde). She had quite the knack for names. She also had numerous other pets along the way, all showcasing the caring and nurturing qualities of her being.

She is preceded in death by her father Wayne Doucha, and her grandson David Thalacker.

Dayna Bertrand was an amazing Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and friend. Her shining personality will be deeply missed.
