On January 7 th , 2019 while listening to her favorite vocalist Daniel O'Donnell sometime between the songs Sweet Victory and How Great Thou Art, Dolores Draus went Heaven bound. On July 13, 1929 she was born to the late Alma and William Kurowski and spent most of her life in the Flintville-Suamico area. On October 2, 1954 she married Chester Draus of Weyerhauser, WI.
She is survived by her six children, Timothy (Debbie) Draus, Green Bay; Jeannine (Tim) VanBeek, New Franken; Joseph (Lauri Sue) Cahoon-Draus, Oconto Falls; Steven (Cheryl) Draus, Sheboygan; Mary Kathleen Draus, Houston, TX; Laurie Draus, Green Bay; grandchildren, Apollo and Adam Draus; William (Katelin) and Katherine VanBeek; Vincent, Pamela and Deanna Cahoon-Draus; Marlena and Saundra Alosi; Lucas and Sarah Dunks; two brothers, Harry (Shirley who was like a sister to her) Kurowski and Wayne Kurowski; sister-in-law Marlene Kurowski, and many nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law.
She was preceded in death by her husband Chester; brother Lester; granddaughter Angel Cahoon-Draus; sister-in-law, Nancy Kurowski; her parents and her beloved cat Martin.
She enjoyed life with her family especially in the garden.
Family and friends may call at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane, on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 4 until 7:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at Ss. Edward & Isidore Catholic Church, 3667 Flintville Road, Suamico. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. at the church with Father David Hoffman officiating.
