Dolores
Kaminski
May 18, 1927 — Apr 5, 2024
Dolores (Nowak) Kaminski, Little Suamico, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2024. Dolores grew up on the family farm in Little Suamico where she developed a love for all animals, especially her horses, kitties, dogs, and birds. She spoiled them all! Christmas was her favorite holiday as she always had the house and the Fraser Fir decorated so beautifully, and you never went away hungry.
On October 9, 1948, she married Anton Kaminski in Flintville. Together they had 1 son Mark, who was the light of her life. When Mark passed away suddenly in 2002, a part of Dolores went with him, her life was never the same.
Dolores leaves behind 2 very special friends, Jack and Cindy Lefevre, who helped her through the years after Mark's passing. She also leaves behind several nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends in the Little Suamico and Abrams areas. A special thank you to her great nephew, Scott Kleczka; cousins Ken (Lois) Novak, Sandy (Larry) DeFord, Patty Stoffers, and Sister Carolyn Wildrick; and her good friend Amy Hoffmann for all your help, visits, letters and care packages to Dolores. That meant more to her than you will ever know.
She was preceded in death by her husband Anton; son Mark; parents Martin and Rose; siblings Irvin and Margaret; special nephew Marvin, and many other relatives and friends.
A wake service for Dolores will be held at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home, 1145 Cardinal Lane Green Bay WI, 54313, on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 5:00pm – 7:30pm. A visitation will continue the following day Thursday, April 18, 2024 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 6051 Noble Street Sobieski WI, 54171 from 10:00am – 12:00pm with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow.
Thank you to the staff at Caraton Commons for the care and concern shown to Dolores during her stay there, and to the staff of St. Croix Hospice for their compassionate care.
