Obituary

Earl J. Andre, 87, of Abrams, Wisconsin, passed away on April 28, 2026. Earl was born on April 10, 1939, to Earl and Lenore Andre. On September 16, 1961, he married the love of his life, Darleene Delaruelle. They shared 63 years of marriage together, building a life centered on family, hard work, and love. Earl also served in the United States Army for 2 years. Earl was with the Parks and Rec Department for the Village of Ashwaubenon for over 24 years. He was the one and only care taker of the Ashwaubomay Park during his tenure.

Earl enjoyed the simple things. He loved fishing and hunting. Spending time outdoors was a real passion. He enjoyed traveling, gardening, using his Ham radio, and spending evenings watching movies, especially Darleene's favorite western movies.

More than anything, Earl loved his family. He was proud of his children and grandchildren and cherished time spent together, whether it was a holiday, a visit, or just an ordinary day at home.

Earl is survived by his son, Bryan Andre; his daughter, Wendy (Jay) Olejniczak; his grandchildren, Marissa (Tony) Bordigon, Carley (Dakota) Wilkerson, Courtney, and Rachel; his sisters, Dar Smet, Donna Vanlaarhoven, and Jo (Jack) Rintamaki; sisters-in-law, Debra (Gary) Wesoloski and Gail (Dan) Johnson; brother-in-law, Scott (Karen) Delaruelle. Further survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Darleene Andre; parents, Earl and Lenore Andre, and his in-laws, Myron and Mary Delaruelle; brothers-in-law, Ralph Smet and Dennis Vanlaarhoven.

Per Earl's wishes, services are private. Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Services Howard - Suamico is assisting the family.
