Edward Joseph
Gille
Aug 24, 1959 — Oct 16, 2019
Edward "Eddy" Joseph Gille, age 60, entered his eternal rest on October 16th, 2019.
Eddy was born on August 24th, 1959 to the late Gerald and June (Koebke) Gille in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He graduated from Oconto High School and attended vocational school where he earned his Journeyman Electrician license.
He was united in marriage on June 4th, 1993 to the love of his life, Dawn (Williams) Gille. Throughout their 26 years of marriage, they enjoyed many things together such as relaxing at the cottage, enjoying nature, attending their son's sporting events, and most important, spending time with friends and family. Eddy served as both a father and a best friend to his only son, Brennan Gille, where he was actively involved in Brennan's life by playing sports and games with him daily, and bringing joy through his unique sense of humor, including his uncanny ability to do spot-on voice imitations.
A meticulous perfectionist, Eddy was very proud of his hard work on his household, classic cars, and his knowledge of his profession. He was a musician at heart, gifted with a remarkable voice and a talent for the drums. He truly felt he belonged when he was playing 80's rock on stage in front of a lively crowd with friends and family watching. He loved his wife and son; he loved his family; and he was happy to help other people when he could. Eddy knew when to make his family happy and looked forward to family gatherings such as Christmas, where he participated in the annual Christmas gift wrapping battle.
Eddy is survived by his wife Dawn; his son Brennan; four sisters: Rebecca (Larry) Pagel, Laura Gille (John Howman), Paula (Raymond) Loubier, Anita Gille (Jim Shulzetenberg); a brother, Joseph (Char Gunville); father-in-law, James Williams; mother-in-law, Judy Beaurain WIlliams; brothers and sisters-in-laws and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Eddy was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and June Gille; nephews Pierre Loubier, Joel and Jacob Pagel; and niece Sarah Pagel.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 21st, 2019 at Ss. Edward and Isidore Catholic Church in Flintville, Wisconsin. The visitation will take place from 9:00 am-11:00 am; Mass will follow with Father David Hoffman officiating.
Husband and Dad, you will be dearly missed - you've touched the lives of many.
