Obituary

Edward Paul (Butch) Pakanich Jr., 80, of Suamico, passed away on June 17, 2024, at his home with his family by his side. – complications from C.O.P.D. He was born on April 2, 1944, to the late Edward Sr. and Pauline Pakanich. After graduating from Premontre High School, he served in the U.S. Army.

Butch was proud to be an iron worker (local 8), stagehand with the Green Bay local, owned and operated the Terminal Bar for 20 years, and co-owner of N.E.W Tanks with good friend Wayne Maas. His passion was tinkering with motorcycles. Butch was especially proud of his 1972 Honda/Davidson that he built and customized, placing in the top 5 of his bike category at Daytona Bike Week. He enjoyed feeding his birds and watching deer in his yard. Butch loved the Packers and yearly trips to the Caribbean.

Butch is survived by his wife Mickey; sister Sandi; brother David; daughters Shelly Moseng, and Kelly (Ron) Guyette; grandchildren Samantha (Dave) Fisher, Brett Brusky, Riley (Melanie) Grueztmacher; great-grandchildren Griffin, Grant, Graham; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Butch is preceded in death by his parents; sister Mary Lou Van Pay; great-grandson Jackson.

A special thank you to the staff at Bristol Hospice for their compassion and excellent care.

A celebration of life for Butch will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024 at Townline Pub & Grill, 2544 Lineville Rd, Green Bay, WI 54313, form 3 - 6 pm.
