Obituary

Edward John (Sonny) Eichman, 80, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, December 12, 2016. He was born to the late John and Clara (Prodell) Eichman on December 24, 1935.

Sonny graduated from Oconto Falls High School Class of 1954. In 1960, he was united in marriage to Marie Gruell. He joined the U. S. Army and completed his military service in 1963. He lived in the Green Bay area and then moved to Suamico to raise his family. Sonny was employed as a hammerman at Green Bay Drop Forge and retired in 2000. He was an avid Packers fan and enjoyed gardening, tooling hobbies and woodworking. Sonny was a loving husband, father and grandpa.

He is survived by his wife, Marie; daughter, Julie Ann Anderson, Oshkosh; son, Bryan John (Mollie) Eichman, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Rachel, Emily, Max and Brylie; his sister, Helen Behnke, Abrams. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Family and friends may call at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 514 Clay St., Green Bay on Monday, Dec. 19 2016 from 9 until 11:30 a.m. Funeral Service 11:30 a.m. at the church with Pastor Jon Zabell officiating. Military Honors to follow. Online condolences are welcome at www.PfotenhauerFuneralHome.com
