Edwin Jack Shrader, 88, Howard, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2016. He was born in LaPorte, IN on April 7, 1928 to the late Daniel and Gladys (Campbell) Shrader. Edwin attended Wausaukee High School and served in the Merchant Marine/Army during WWII and was honorably discharged. He married Dorothy Ann Wojtkiewicz on Sept. 30, 1950. He was employed as a truck driver with Schneider National until retiring.

Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Dorothy Ann; children, Daniel (Theresa) Shrader; Scott Shrader (Kathy Meese); Jane (Michael) Fitzgerald; Jean (Jay) Kaster; Judy (Russell) Dart; Jo Ann (David) Eland; grandchildren, Jack (Kia) Shrader; Jeremy Shrader; Tina (Jason) Kornowski; Shara (Tim) Gilkey; Jamaica (Tim) Eibles; Autumn (Wes) Ward; Jaclyn (Jason) Cravens; Brett Fitzgerald; Jay Kaster; Jarica Kaster; Melanie Dart; Brooke Dart; Joshua Dart; David Eland Jr.; Brittany Eland; Daniel Eland; great grandchildren, Kane, Raven and Isis Shrader; Mack Shrader; Molly and Jackson Gilkey; Charlie, Samuel and Meara Eibles; Abby and Cole Ward; Allyson and Coy Cravens; Dane Kaster; Jayden Vogel.

Edwin was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, Alexander and Thelma (Thompson) Wojtkiewicz; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Leona (Robert) Hurst.
