Ervin A. Hayes, 78, Suamico, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 18, 2017 with his family by his side. He was born in Suamico on Dec. 14, 1938 to the late Willard and Margaret (Heiser) Hayes. In Ervin's younger years, he worked in a saw mill and later moved on to work at Alwin Manufacturing Company as a machine operator for over 30 years. Ervin enjoyed outdoor activities including hunting and working in his yard. In his early years, he spent a lot of time riding his Harley, playing darts and shooting pool.

Survivors include his sister, Shirley Nau, Green Bay; nephew, Russell (Kayya) Nau, Green Bay; niece, Julie (Tim) Wagnitz, Green Bay; cousins and great nephew and nieces.

Ervin was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Russell Nau.
