Eugene "Gene" Prahl, 77, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2026. Gene worked as a salesman for Midland Plastics for more than 40 years. He was an avid NASCAR fan and hot rod enthusiast.

Gene is survived by his wife, Kathleen; children, Gina Woelfel (Doug), Marty Prahl, Robin Sprangers, Max Prahl (Erica), Eric Anderson (Melissa), Courtney Vincent (Justin), Stephan Lepinski (Liz); grandchildren, Samantha Woelfel, Mason Woelfel, Gracie Athey, Klowy Athey, Michael Hernandez, Daniel Hernandez, Nicolas Prahl, Cali Prahl, Samantha Guillette (Kyle), Sophia Anderson, Nolan Anderson, Jonah Anderson, Lillian Anderson, Liberty Anderson (Zach), and Daemon Vincent; great grandchildren, Oden Guillette and Winnie Guillette; and mother, Lorraine Prahl.

He is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Holly Prahl, and infant son, Jay Prahl; Infant granddaughters, Madelyn, Riley; father, George Prahl.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 25 from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Howard-Suamico, 1145 Cardinal Lane. A service will immediately follow at 1:00 PM. Gene will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery, Little Suamico.
