Evelyn E. 'Ev' Mason, 101, Village of Suamico, passed away peacefully at Alpha Senior Concepts on Sunday, March 12, 2023.

Evelyn was born on January 29, 1922, to the late Felix and Irene (Swarts) Huben. She married Bert Mason at St. John the Baptist Church, Howard, on November 14, 1942. Evelyn worked at Mae Drury's supper club in her teens. After marrying Bert, she stayed home and did a great job of raising her six children. One of Evelyn's joys was planting and nurturing flowers. If you ever stopped to visit her at the lake, you would have seen at least 50 pots and baskets of flowers. Evelyn was a very friendly and outgoing person to everyone she met. She will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her six children, Bertram 'Chuck' (Anna) Mason, Pittsfield; Sharon (Ron) Vanderperren, Green Bay; Sue Lemke, Palm Coast, FL; Sandy (Robert) Rendfliesch, Amberg; Kevin (Peggy) Mason, Crivitz; Melissa (David) Meneghini, Suamico; grandchildren, John Mason; Teresa Abrahamson; Tara (Scott) Showalter; Angie (Scott) Mullen; Scott (Tammy) Lemke; Paul (Nicole) Rendfliesch; Darrel (Sam) Rendfliesch; Quinn Mason; Jordan Meneghini; great grandchildren, Luke Abrahamson; Elijah Showalter; Sydney and Mason Mullen; Alex and Travis Lemke; Holden Rendfliesch. Further survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Bert; parents; one brother, Norman Huben; and one sister, Viola Nichol.

A Celebration of Evelyn's Life with a visitation will be held at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane, on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 4:00 until 7:00 PM.
