Gail A.
Libert
May 8, 1937 — Nov 10, 2022
"I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die." John 11:25-26
Gail (Larscheid) Libert, loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 10, 2022.
She was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on May 8th, 1937, to the late Leonard and Luella Larscheid.
On August 17, 1957, she married the love of her life, Lawrence Libert. They enjoyed 54 years of marriage before he passed away in December of 2011.
Gail attended St. Peter and Paul grade school and St. Joseph's Academy. She went on to get her cosmetology license and began her career as a hairdresser at The Prange's Beauty Salon. She put her career on hold to raise her family, after which she returned to work at Carolyn's Coiffures, until she retired.
In her life Gail enjoyed reading, knitting, swimming and gardening. She was always busy. Her family meant the world to her. She was there when any of us needed her. After Larry passed away, she reunited with her high school girlfriends. They brought great joy and laughter back to her life and were a true Blessing. Most importantly Gail loved God and sought to honor Him by the way she lived her life.
Gail is preceded in death by her Parents, a Brother and Sister-in-law Gary and Lois Larscheid, Brother-in-law Jim Libert, Husband Lawrence Libert and her faithful four legged companion "Babe".
She is survived by: Her Children Greg (Michelle) Libert, Deb (Joe) Nackers, Julie (Mike) Sanders, Bob Libert. Grandchildren: Ryan (Tania) Libert, BJ (Ashley) Nackers, Josh (Jenny) Nackers, Tony (Amber) Libert. Great Grandchildren: Everett & Jameson Nackers and Luca Libert. She is further survived by a Brother-in-law Mike (Barb) Libert and numerous Nieces and Nephews. Gail also leaves behind Bailey, her sweet and loving furbaby.
A huge thank you to the staff on Hollyberry at Woodside Nursing Home for the care they gave Mom. You helped her keep her sense of humor even on the hardest days. The family would also like to thank Gail's Dear Friend and former neighbor Brenda Kopke and her pups for watching over our Mom.
Thank you to Unity Hospice for your support to both Mom and our Family.
