Gerald J. "Jerry" Kurowski, 81, Village of Howard, passed away with his family by his side on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at a Green Bay hospital.  The son of the late John and Helen (Jagodzinski) Kurowski was born August 22, 1936 at home in Krakow.  In 1953 he graduated from Pulaski High School.  Jerry proudly served his country in both the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force.  On Oct. 21, 1967 he married Jill Johnson and they recently celebrated 50 years together.  Jerry always had a love for music and had played trumpet and clarinet in various polka bands throughout the years.   Prior to his retirement, Jerry was employed as an insurance adjuster for General Casualty and Maple Valley Insurance.

Survivors include his wife, Jill, Howard; son, Eric "John" Kurowski, Green Bay; daughter and son in-law, Lori Kurowski and Farooq "Frank" Butt, Green Bay; two sisters, Florence "Pat" Brzezinski, Pulaski; Sharon (Jim) Lorsung, Phoenix, AZ; three sisters-in-law, Elaine Kurowski, New Ulm, MN; Mary Kurowski, Tallahassee, FL; Judy (Steve) Pipkorn, Powers, MI.  He is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; father and mother-in-law, Lester and Myrtle Johnson; brothers, Ralph (Eleanor), Edward and Norman Kurowski; sisters, Dorothy (David) Cole, Marcella (Bill) Olsen, Delores Kurowski and Bebeanne Kurowski; brother in-law, Leo Brzezinski;  his furry friends, Scooter and Goober.

Honoring Jerry's wishes, no funeral services will be held at this time.  Family will have a Celebration of Life Service at a later date, and in the spring, a graveside service in Norway, MI with Military Honors.
