Gordon "Gordy" H. Hug, 81, Green Bay, passed on unexpectedly at home on Sunday, July 26, 2015. His passing was not painful and in the loving care of his wife. He was born to the late Henry and Louise (Dekowski) Hug. Gordy attended Marquette University and UW LaCrosse. He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. Gordy married Shirley Brautigam on January 28, 1961. He was involved in retail management for many years at the Port Plaza Mall. Gordy was a kind hearted, humble man who provided for his family and loved them dearly. Gordy's three huge passions in his life were his family, Beer and the Green Bay Packers. He always had a smile on his face and a little mischievous look in his eye and did a lot of good deeds to help other people. "Gordy, a man with a big heart", you will truly be missed and will always be cherished in our hearts. Survivors include his wife, Shirley; sons, Bryan (Marlies) Hug and their children, Cassandra and Constantina; Allen (Yaprak) Hug and their daughter, Cynthia; Dale Hug; brother, Tom Hug; sister, Diane (Bob) Kellner. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Gordy was preceded in death by his parents; and son, David Allen Hug.
