Obituary

Inge W Hudson, age 80 of Green Bay died Friday evening December 14th, 2018 at Odd Fellow Rebekah Nursing Home. She was born in Frankfurt, Germany on May 9th, 1938 the daughter of William and Maria Weiss.

She is survived by two sons, Paul William Hudson (Dawn) and David J Hudson; one sister, Elfriede (Eugene) Keslowe of Whitehouse Station, New Jersey; Grandaudghter Ann (Brad) Ruckle and two Great Grandchildren Brynn and Christopher of Hortonville, Wisconsin, Granddaughter Cyrstal Hudson of Oshkosh, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.

Inge was proud of her heritage, this was evident as she enjoyed the moments of going out as if she were attending Oktoberfest. She enjoyed the celebration of life with conversation, food and dancing to music over a good beer and an occasional shot. Despite being a great grandmother she was young at heart. No matter the event Inge was there to celebrate and would somehow, unknowingly get the entire room to break out in laughter with her one liners. Music was life for her. Always asking "What is that new song on the radio, it has that european beat?" Attending various music concerts well into her sixties, whether seeing Rod Stewart, Tina Turner, Cher, Cindy Lauper, Bad Boys Blue or the Pet Shop Boys, once again she celebrated life, living in the moment with those around her. Inge was a great cook, she was able to make something out of a couple of ingredients; however, she was a Master of Cookie Baking. Once she was done baking cookies you'd think they were purchased from a German bakery. Each cookie baked the same size, texture and unbelievable flavor. She enjoyed sharing them to those in her life, gifts from the heart-made with love.

Therefore a celebration of her life will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 5 until 7:00 p.m. at The Village Grille, 801 Hoffman Road, Green Bay, WI 54301. Music, Food and Beer will be shared. Most of all it will celebrate life, friendship, compassion, acceptance and love, all of which she cherished with those she met.

The family would like to thank Birch Creek Assisted Living and staff for caring for Inge over the years as well as Odd Fellows Rebakah Nursing Home and staff and Ray Hoffman.

A special Thank You to Michael Raught from the family for his care and presence with Inge during her final moments.
