James “Jim” Goddard, 93, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2026, with his family by his side.

Jim proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1952 to 1956, stationed at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. Following his military service, he built a life centered on hard work, family, and the simple joys that brought him happiness. He had a passion for carpentry and was happiest creating and building with his hands. He also treasured weekends spent at the family cottage and enjoyed countless hours boating with those he loved.

Jim will be deeply missed by his sons, Richard (Kim) Goddard, Jay (Kim) Goddard, and Todd (Ellen) Goddard; his grandchildren, Kari Compe, Michael Goddard, Travis Goddard, Ben Goddard, Trisha Trudell, Lindsay Falk, and Brittany Cook; his great-grandchildren, Cameron Compe, Callee Compe, Lilly Goddard, Lucas Goddard, Olivia Goddard, Tony Goddard, Evander Goddard, and Paisley Goddard; his brother, Orville (Diane) Goddard; his sister, Paulette (Buck) Johnson; as well as 11 nieces, four nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cynthia Goddard; his parents, Orville and Lura Goddard; his brothers, Richard Goddard and Larry Goddard; his sisters, Barbara Kananen and Shirley Goddard; and his grandson, Matthew Goddard.

Jim will be remembered for his quiet strength, his dedication to his family, his willingness to lend a helping hand, and the pride he took in everything he built. His legacy lives on through the family he cherished and the many lives he touched throughout his 93 years. The family would also like to thank Unity Hospice for the care they provided them.
