James "Jim" Sell, 80, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Jim was born on July 14, 1943, in Oconto Falls to the late John Sell and Erna (Harley) James. He served in the United States Airforce and worked as an electrician/maintenance for Saputo Cheese, from where he eventually retired. Jim married Patricia in 1998 in Jamaica.

Some of the many hobbies Jim enjoyed were gardening, camping, and cooking – especially his famous apple pie. He loved to fish and always treasured time spent with family.

Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Pat; daughters, Amy (Adam) Heiser and Andrea Sell; stepdaughter, Michelle (Bob) Sonnenberg; grandchildren, Ashley Firkowski, Trevor (Miranda) Sell, Alexus Balli, Rick Kane, Alex Heinz, and Tanner Sonnenberg; and great-grandchildren, Elora Sell, Amelia Balli, and Aria Balli; and siblings, John (Lorraine) Sell and Evon (John) Moede.

He is preceded in death by his parents; stepson, Raymond Kane Jr.; and siblings, Betty (Al) Severson, Mavis (John) Leitzke, Pat (Larry) Cassidy, and Sandy (Leroy) Otto.

Family and friends may call on Monday, February 5, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Suamico United Methodist Church, 3266 Lakeview Drive, Suamico. A funeral service and military honors will immediately follow at 12:00 PM.
