Obituary

Jane A. (Arnoldi) (LaBine) (Spejcher) Polasek, 83, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2022, in the gentle and loving care of Unity Hospice and Cardinal Ridge Residential in Howard after a several-year battle with Parkinson's Disease. Born October 25, 1938, to Alloy and Florence Arnoldi, Jane was the oldest of 10 siblings and a life-long resident of the Green Bay Area. Proudly, she was a member of the first graduating class of Preble High School in 1957.

With a creative and generous spirit, Jane graced the lives of anyone she had the pleasure to meet. If you are from Green Bay, there is a solid chance she may have: served you food and drink on roller skates at her family's root beer stand; taught you belly dancing at her Suamico home; arranged the flowers for your wedding through her successful business, Jane's Boutique (did you select your invitations and wedding flowers sitting on Jane's living room floor?--yes, you did!); decorated the church in stunning fashion for your wedding; videotaped your special events; drove you Packer players in a limousine to a signing event; brought you meals on wheels; spent time with you at a Red Hat meeting or countless other ways she shared her spectacular love for life. Later, Jane enjoyed traveling via RV with her current husband and made countless friends along those snow-bird journeys. Additionally, those travels gave her an opportunity to share more "Made-by-Jane" treasures throughout the country. Truly, Jane experienced everything in life with an infectious smile and a genuine positive attitude.

She is survived by her devoted husband Norman Polasek; son Larry (Lori) LaBine; daughter Mary (Edward) Spejcher-Deeken; grandchildren Matthew (Rachel) LaBine, Brenda (Greg) Billings, Brooke (Matt) Peeters, Davis Deeken and Harper Deeken; great grandchildren Garrett LaBine, Hudson Billings, Bristal Billings, Beau Billings, Sarah LaBine, Grace Peeters, Caroline Peeters and Easton Peeters; sisters Joan Shuckart, Joyce Berg, Linda Sauer, Donna Allard; brothers Carl Arnoldi and Donald Arnoldi; many cousins, nieces, and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her ex-husband Lawrence LaBine, husband of 33 years Chester Spejcher, father Alloy Arnoldi, mother Florence Arnoldi, brother Thomas Arnoldi, brother William Arnoldi and sister Janice (Cookie) Schleis.

A visitation will be held Saturday, March 12, 2022, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 9th Street, Green Bay, from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. led by Fr.
