Jane Ann Schumacher
October 24, 1968 - October 27, 2026
Jane Ann Schumacher, 58, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, as the result of a tragic car accident. A longtime Wisconsin resident, Jane called Wisconsin home.
Jane was a kindhearted, caring, and fun-loving woman who had a way of making those around her feel special. Known for her high energy, sense of humor, and genuine ability to make others smile, she was always quick to offer a compliment or put someone else’s happiness before her own. She had a big heart and found joy in making the people around her happy.
Jane loved the simple things in life and making memories with the people she loved. She enjoyed country music, attending concerts and festivals, spending sunny days soaking up the sun, and browsing thrift stores and rummage sales. Some of her favorite memories were made at the family cabin on Lake Emily in Wisconsin, where she enjoyed spending time with family.
Family was always at the center of Jane’s life. She shared an especially close bond with both of her parents, who meant the world to her. She was very devoted to her mom, Sue, and spent years helping care for her through her mother’s multiple health challenges. Jane’s love for her parents was unwavering, and the time she shared with them was among the most meaningful parts of her life. She also cherished her visits to The Villages in Florida to spend time with her dad, Thomas.
Jane had a special love for animals, and her pets throughout the years were more than just pets; they were family. They were a huge part of her life, brought her endless happiness, and held a very special place in her heart.
Although Jane never had children of her own, she held a very special place in the lives of her nieces, Elizabeth and Hannah, whom she loved like her own. She treasured the time spent together, and the bond they shared was something truly special.
Jane is survived by her brother, Steven Schumacher; her nieces, Elizabeth and Hannah Schumacher; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Sue Schumacher, as well as her beloved grandparents, whom she was close to growing up.
Jane will be remembered for her kindness, contagious energy, sense of humor, and the way she made others feel loved and appreciated. Her absence will leave a space that cannot be filled, but the memories she created and the love she shared will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Celebration of Life details will be announced at a later date.
