John E. Rosik, (Johnny Pabst, Johnny Bud), 78, Duck Creek, passed away peacefully at home, Thursday, July 26, 2018. He was born September 10, 1939, in Green Bay, WI, the son of the late Edward and Frances (Eckhardt) Rosik. He was a lifetime resident of Duck Creek. John graduated from Premontre High School in 1958. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1958-1960. On August 24, 1963, he was united in marriage to Renae Thyrion and they enjoyed almost 55 years together.
John started working at Burr Wholesale as a beer man in 1963. In 1992, he began in beer sales at Dean Distributing, retiring in 2001. He enjoyed his trailer up north on Newton Lake for 35 years. John enjoyed snowmobiling, golfing, pontoon boating and loved meeting his Cropsey's buddies on Tuesdays. He was President of the Knightriders Snowmobile Club, a member of the Howard-Suamico Optimist Club and ran the beer tent at the St. John's church picnics. He was an avid Packer and Brewer fan.
Survivors include his wife, Renae; children, Rhonda (Bob) Hill, Howard; Roxanne "Rocky" (Chip) Cole, Ashwaubenon; grandchildren, Nathan Hill, Max and Wesley Cole; sister-in-law, Dianne LaPointe. Further survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
John was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, Ted and Margaret Thyrion.
Family and friends may call at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 4 until 8:00 p.m. Parish wake service at 7:00 p.m. with Deacon Nick Williams. Visitation continues on Wednesday from 10-11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2597 Glendale Ave., (one quarter mile east of the corner of Cardinal Lane and Glendale Ave.).
