John Schumacher, 76, passed away on September 2, 2026. He was born to the late William and Marion (Oberthur) Schumacher on June 24, 1950. John proudly served in the United States Navy from 1969 – 1973. He drove semi for Schneider Transportation for 14 years. In his free time, John enjoyed fishing and hunting.

John is survived by his siblings, Bill (Mari) Schumacher, Mark (Sandy) Schumacher, Rose Schumacher and brother-in-law, Peter Kirschling. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Kirschling.

A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, September 14 from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane. A memorial service and military honors will follow at 5:00 PM.
