Johnny Montgomery The world lost an amazing man Johnny Montgomery, 78, Green Bay, went to heaven to be with the angels on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. He was born on Nov. 21, 1936 to the late James and Bertha (Ratliff) Montgomery. He married his wife of 35 years Kay in 1980 and created a beautiful home full of love for everyone then moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1985. Johnny was an auto body man throughout his life, received a license in pest control, moved back to Green Bay 1998, retiring from Carver 2006. John was blessed to have his wife Kay; daughter Kandi; grandchildren Dusti, Drew, Dillon (D.J.) & Devon; who were always by his side and cared for him through his illness. He enjoyed his great grandchildren Zayden, Autumn & his little yorkie Puddles they always made him smile. He was very excited about his great grandchild to be born in March. John liked John Wayne westerns, George Jones and all country music, the Packers, NASCAR, and camping in his motorhome. Survivors include his wife, Kay; children, Brett (Terri) Hudson; Bart (Janine) Hudson; John (Rhonda) Montgomery Jr.; Kandi Kay Evans; Jody (Paul) Boucus; Jason Montgomery; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Porter (Doris) Montgomery; Charles (Jean) Montgomery; Ronald Montgomery; Marty (Gene) Bersch; Carl Montgomery; Beth Modrow; as well as many other family & friends. Johnny was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Elizabeth; Beverly; and Carrol. A Celebration of Life, visitation will be held at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home, East-Town location, 2379 East Mason St., on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015 from 1 until 3 p.m.; Service 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home followed by Military Honors.
