Josephine Owen (Loudance) "Josie", 85, died peacefully, after a nearly year long battle with cancer, on July 5, 2018 in Green Bay, WI. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on Sept. 23, 1932 to the late Joseph and Catherine (McKnight) Loudance. She graduated from John Bartram HS (1951). Josephine married Monty D. Owen in Pennsylvania on Oct. 15, 1950. He preceded her in death in 2001. In 1963 she moved to Collingdale, Pa. where she raised her family for 40 + years. In 2005 she moved to Green Bay WI, to be with her youngest grandchildren.  In retirement she was an active member of the Collingdale Senior Center where she coordinated outings and trips for the group. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren and spent as much time as she could with them. She loved to travel, be with family and was an avid reader. Later, Josie loved to play slots and bingo. Her smile could brighten a room.  She was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Survivors include her children, Doranne (Michael) Nattress; Monty J. (Maureen) Owen; Darryl Owen (his girlfriend Sarah); grandchildren, Joseph Nattress, Jennifer (Austin) Perks, Raymond Nattress, Daniel Nattress, Kyle Owen, Brendan Owen, Corey Owen, Kailey Owen, Tomas Owen, Sarah Owen, Katherine Owen; great grandchildren, Gwen Perks, Elizabeth Perks, Emily Nattress Colden Nattress, Arden Nattress, Cassidy Nattress, Harlow Miller, Halston Owen.

Josephine was preceded in death by her parents; husband Monty; in-laws, Montie and Cynthia Owen.

A memorial service will be held on August 4, 2018, at 10 a.m., in Lansing, North Carolina. Her burial will be in the Owen Family Cemetery. Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Service is assisting the family. Online condolences welcome at www.PfotenhauerFuneralHome.com
