Joyce Basteyns, 94, Green Bay, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015. She was born in Green Bay on April 24, 1921 to the late Otto and Reany (Steeno) Peters. Joyce married Edward Basteyns on Oct. 26, 1940 and he preceded her in death in July 1983. She was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Duck Creek VFW Post 7534. Joyce traveled a lot with friends and enjoyed crafts, her yard, flowers and ceramic painting. Survivors include her children, Faye (Wayne) Champeau; Linda (Bob) Haworth; Todd (Joan) Basteyns; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sally Basteyns; numerous nieces and nephews. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; grandson, Troy; her parents; brothers and sisters-in-law Don (Florence) Peters; Merlin Peters; Jim (Penny) Peters; Lyle (Marlene) Peters; in-laws, Joe (Eva) Maus; Ted (Marg) Thyrion; Jim Basteyns; John (Ione) Basteyns.
